Today is National Quilting Day

Today is National Quilting Day. I began the morning out by starting to stitch up a ton of flying geese-well not a ton, but an awful lot. I ordered some "Stitching Lines" from QIAD, and absolutely love them. No more drawing lines for flying geese, HST's and anything else that needs lines. Here is the web site for them http://www.marinandcolusa.com/ they make the process of FG addicting! Especially when using the "no waste method" shown here http://www.patchpieces.com/Flyinggeese.html Well, I stopped in the middle of making my two different sizes of flying geese and giving my house a very good cleaning. Now finished with cleaning and the laundry, I decided to check the forum, my email and blog. Now I am on my way back to sewing, but first I have to iron open the flying geese section and then finish them, I will iron them with my new Oliso auto-life iron. Until later...
